I would have so much anxiety if I was in that anchorage.
The pictures don’t do it justice! Extremely tight…

This anchorage is much more relaxed. First time solo on the boat and staying here for the night.

Any time we have a low front aka tropical disturbance coming into the southeast weather gets a little unpredictable.

On a positive note the scattered storms clear the lake so we have a relaxing  evening without constant boat wake. The bass boats and pontoons don't weather as well as a hard top.

On a clear day we can see the Appalachian mtns  from this cove.

Hopefully I'll get a nice sunset one here later. It's our favorite place for them.

That's the way I bought it but I know the mod you are talking about. I can't imagine the previous owner did it as they didn't seem to do much.

Now you got me thinking 🤔.

@J3ff  3 to 4 feet of water?? Man that must take some getting used to. I panic when I see 5'  flashing.   Nice photos , would like to see that someday.

Behold - a brand-new Bravo 3, waiting to go on my port transom.

On the homeward leg of a fantastic 10-day cruise, we saw a boat with the captain waving his arms as a distress signal.  As I came down off plane to assist, the drive started making a LOUD knocking noise in forward gear.  It wasn't the "throw a bucket of wrenches into a concrete mixer" noise, but there's obviously some badness going on inside that drive.  We drove home on one drive, only 90 minutes.  (Another boat helped the guy with the distress signal.)

I was able to get a new drive the same week!  Kudos AGAIN to Brian Connor at Rhode River Marina -- same guy who got me two transom assemblies during the COVID shutdown.
