My wife hit a buck 🦌 yesterday driving to work. Luckily she wasn’t hurt and not much damage on her car. She was definitely shaken up. She pulled off on a side street but thinks the deer ran off.
She didn't hit a buck, buck hit her. Smacked so hard she couldn't open the door when she got to the grocery store. Giant steel winch bumper with grill protection... useless. Steel sliders from Lucky 8 off road.... useless.
I killed one with the stock front bumper of the excursion, probably 150-175 lbs a month ago. Didn't leave a mark.
One of the ugliest boats I have ever seen: Overblue Yachts 58. Shiver me timbers!! You'd have to see her in person to fully understand how ugly she is. I'm sure she has someone who loves her, but it's not for her looks.
She was ugly when she was new, and now she's been rode hard and put up wet. But, as I said, somewhere there's somebody who loves her.
Meanwhile, just down the pier is an 85 Northern Marine called Spellbound that weighs 82 tons. If you want to cross oceans without spilling your martini, she'd do it. This internet pic doesn't do her justice. The foredeck is probably 25 feet above the water. Yes, she's a heavy girl, but I'd take her home and I'd make her toast in the morning.
If it wasn’t for that anchor, I would have assumed that was the stern. The bow looks like the back of a Plymouth Prowler.
I absolutely love the Prowler. There's one outside a furniture/trade store I pass everyday. Its blasphemous it only came with a v6, still a very unique design form the Dodge family tree
There's unfortunately some damage. I didn't catch it at first. I have to wait until state farm (her insurance) verifies she admits liability for the rear ending. The police report indicated her liability and obviously pics indicate your classic didn't stop in time for the traffic light situation. So i wait. I did pop it out enough so my widow fictions again. Can't access the cargo area without the widow coming down
