@captkevin - I'm having one of the old props repaired. The other one is likely scrap metal. He's going to evaluate it in December when his workload slows down.
The new props are performing exactly like the originals! I wasn't sure because they are 29x38.5 compared to the original 30x37.5. But I'm getting the same speed and fuel consumption as before throughout the speed range.
And here's what my chart looks like now. Won't make that mistake again!! I ran aground right where it says "boulder".
I wondered where you ran aground, my Navionics App does not show that boulder in normal screen . You have to zoom right in and see a small "R" marking it.

Well, sorta! The regional Maritimo dealer, Colony Marine, is having their annual party/boat show today. We came here to see our buddies on that gorgeous M55, and they brought their friend on the M52.
Colony Marine is a big deal here. We got to meet the owner, Pete Beauregard ("Junior"), and his dad ("Senior") who are both members of the Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA) Hall of Fame. Interesting guys. Perfect weather, live music, and lots of delicious Michigan corn!
I have a picture to add..albeite on the silly side, I drove myself crazy with a mid ship leak. I pulled speakers, resealed hardware...nothing. Water ran down through the " ceiling" of the mid ship and it also ran out on the genny (and to the fuel tank I'm sure) rotting out the genny frame and the wood in the mid ship ceiling. What your looking at, on a 270 on the port side helm seating (all that nautical talk can make a 270 sound fancy), where it curves there is a dry storage underneath the seat- except it fills with rain. So, the previous owner drilled two holes in the bottom of that bin on either side to drain the water. Problem solved! I've replaced that wood in that "ceiling" and recovered but the sealant may have started leaking..I cleaned it out and filled with JB Weld..that should be on anyone's boat tool kit: one for metal and one for plastic.
