@Lake_Bum how big is the boating area there- it is stunning! We all have our unique scenery but these pics you throw up are really something.
Lake Powell is pretty massive. It's 186 miles long, and is top notch fishing/camping/recreation lake. It's a National Recreation area, so almost NO civilization at all. Only a couple Marinas at each end of the lake. Zero houses, hotels, Casino's, none of that stuff. Just the amazing scenery that you see here in the pic. And I'm under 2 hours away from it
This spectacular 100-foot Horizon FD100 is making her way down the New River here in Fort Lauderdale. If you study the photo closely, you can see our wee little Maritimo in the foreground getting detailed.
This would be a great time for you to buy your own Horizon FD100. Just grab the nearest $14M and go to the Miami International Boat Show, which is probably where this boat is headed. With boat show pricing, you could probably save a million dollars AND get free towels with your boat name.
So after dropping my phone, I was signed out for a few days and couldn’t add a picture from my new phone. Now that it’s all sorted out (thanks Raybo) I can add from a few days ago. This is looking down my creek, whoever resets piles this season is going to make a killing. Also pictured is my “ice breaker” so I could get the ice eaters in the water at my docks.
Rinker sold but still have other boats Eastern LI, NY
We have lost pilings at my club because of ice. We are on a river that runs about 4 knots and it was almost completely frozen over about 3 or 4 feet thick.

@Ian yes we pull our docks also. Put them in the parking lot. We lost the pilings because the river banks froze solid plus huge and I mean huge solid chucks of ice coming down the river.

Winter barn find. Took it to work in order to hit it with the wire wheel and bead blaster. Unfortunately I found a hairline crack in it so now it's a wall ornament.
By law, after a boat has been freshly detailed, you are required to post mirror photos. They did a full gelcoat correction: wash, compound, leveling compound, polish, and polymer sealant. What a difference ... the boat has never looked this good.
More eye candy for our Rinker brethren in places where it's still cold.
[Edit: it's hard to hear my comment in the video, but these two dolphins kept turning sideways to look up at me and see if I was still watching. We had to stop for a bridge opening ... they waited for us, and came back over after we got past the bridge! I love it.]
@Rich_ viewing from Florida that's a beautiful picture! Over the holidays we thought we wanted to just hop in the truck and take the kids to see snow if it came far enough south enough. Then, we had 20's in Florida with wind chills in the teens in the orlando area which reminded the wife and I why we livevwhere we do! We are headed to the 80's this weekend but back in the 30's next week. The yard is wrecked from the last freeze. I brought the boat home today keep the bilge warm, my neighbor complained and the city was going to tow it again-
Currently about to push back from the gate on our way to Costa Rica. Rumors of more snow for here but will see what happens, at least it will be warm until next week

I'm seeing maybe 2 inches here and only a couple more than that up your way in NY. Enjoy that Costa Rica trip! I've been looking at a trip down there as well. I just haven't found one yet that didn't have a long ride after getting to the airport.
So much for my fresh detailing job. Last night until 9PM, this jacka$s was 10 feet away from my boat sanding bondo and fiberglass. No enclosure, no shop-vac, spewing huge clouds of gray dust. My entire boat was coated with it.
The owner of the marina where we stayed does not own or control that slip. He did what he could ... complained to the other marina, made them move to a different slip, and sent a guy to wash my boat this morning. Then we got the heck out of there.
And we paid $400 a night for that slip! Welcome to Miami.
