  Rebuilt three seawater pumps (main engines plus generator).  It's no different from all those Hardin pumps I rebuilt over the years ... you see one, you've seen them all.  
  
  What's wrong with this picture?  John, yes I did buy yet another cheap 6-ton hydraulic press, exactly like the one I sold you a couple years ago!

  A bunch of generator maintenance for me today. Replaced the coupler and impeller. Also replaced the anode in the heat exchanger. Vacuumed the pan under the generator, paint is starting to flake.   I forgot, I also bled the fuel injector. Last season it didn’t want to stay running until I bled it.

  I was on shore, Great Peconic Bay. Sebonack clubhouse in Southampton is the background. One good thing about dropping old phone in the water, the new phone camera is pretty dam good

  Thanks to the great info from @ReneeChris14 and @rmfriday in this thread, I tackled the Simpson-Lawrence Horizon 600 windlass fix...no pictures of it reassembled, but here she is in a scary pile of parts.  
  
  It was a little more difficult getting it back together, but nothing a step drill and dremel couldn't fix. Also had a spring from one of the brushes depart, luckily I found it before I stepped on it and broke it. 
  
  For those that might try to tackle this, here is a pdf of the instructions with some editorializing by myself.

  I took the rest of the shrink wrap off (left the arch covered) and wiped her down. I still have to replace the caps and rotors and give her a good wash down. She’s patiently waiting.
