Absolutely. I squeezed into a spot to reconnect the hot water heater that I had one of the kids do the disconnect for the first time last fall. Definitely easier when smaller
Rinker sold but still have other boats Eastern LI, NY
The crew of Dream Inn hanging out with the crew of LaRea in Annapolis! Had a spectacular afternoon watching the Blue Angels perform at the Naval Academy. John's son Austin got us a slip downtown with a great view of the show on a beautiful sunny day. (Well, sunny until we took this photo.)
I'll see if my good camera got any better photos of the Blue Angels.
Today I figured out why my AC pump was leaking salt water into my bilge! This is a 1" threaded pipe that corroded because they used brass instead of bronze. Eventually, the pipe wall got so thin that water started spraying out through the threaded section. Luckily, Nantucket has a really good hardware store that had one in stock. Brass, but it'll work until I can get a bronze one.
I'm kicking myself for not replacing the pipe when I replaced the pump three years ago!
In Venice, Italy and these water taxi drivers send it full time. Their skill puts me to shame. Love having a drink and watching these guys do their job.
So our last 10 day trip didn’t go uneventful. While on plane during day three, I felt some crazy vibration and went to idle. Figured out it was port side so we limped to our next destination on stbd motor. I found this: I immediately called Hill Marine, the guy said he never heard of the big cow prop having this issue. I said, talk to the owner. I called back a few minutes later after verifying it was. a LH prop. Owner was there and remembered me from the last time, 3 years ago, a LH prop had the same thing. Here’s the two: Not sure why, but it looks to me maybe again a stress crack in it then corroded? )she’s lift kept too) Hill Marine did help me out and gave me next day fedex shipping for free and took 20% off the new prop. Would I have liked more? Sure, but they also didn’t have to do that. I was able to install the new one in the water and no changes to my itenerary. Not fun installing a 35lb prop in 8 feet of water.
