Almost definately a bond wire for the through hull. No pics with me while I sit in a tragically boring meeting. Maybe this evening Il dig one up.

I have traced the wire down and it goes to a ground block at the back of the boat. This wire may not have a purpos, but it seems like it should connect to the motor. Any thoughts?

FYI, I have discovered a ton of unconnected wires in my boat, including the mentioned green wire. I suspect most Rinkers comes pre wired for options you might not have. The one in the bilge is probably a ground strap for the genset. Mine was ordered without a bow windlass, when I started to install my new Lewmar winch I found that the wires where already installed, thanks Rinker :)
