Re: What did you do to your boat today
I think they say to put it in rice for a day or two. It’s supposed to draw the water out and dry it up.

Re: Pic Of The Day
Say hi to djt when you're in town! I really want to get our boat down there. In theory, I could launch in fresh water , st johns river in sanford, go up to jaxonville and then enter the icw to go south. Around titusville, I'd be about 50 miles as a crow flies from where I started. Then, head south. Sebastian inlet is as far south as I have been but we trailered to there. A very unfriendly inlet- not that I went out it. South Florida looks like the boating capital of the world. Florida is running out of slips.

Re: What is gear ratio for 2002 350 Mag Bravo3 stolen - any non-OEM replacements
I'd pay them 50 bucks to leave my crap alone

Is it safe to assume they've never owned something that big? I would think canals/locks would be the worst place to go first. I'd want some open sheltered water to learn all the systems/controls/handling manners. Maybe avoid a plywood window

The bottom one is the exhaust. It has risers on the inside of the boat, so you will be good.

Winner -- AND they didn't even cut the tags off the orange vests!
But they are underway and I bet it's the best day of their lives!

Re: May need some help........
I use the Port drive indicator to tell me where the starboard drive is. Its not 100% but its close enough. Besides, how often do you trim one drive more than the other? That's what tabs are for.oscar1 said:how do you know where your drive is when you trim the outdrive or you are using the other drive as reference for trim position?earl1z19 said:Oscar, I just plugged it in and zip tied it to the harness on the transom. You could easily attach it to a piece of starboard or something similar to make it look more professional and then hang the star board to the transom. i did go through the calibration process on the smartcraft so that it thinks everything is as it should be. At some point I want to fix it properly by addressing the pivot pin issue but for now this is a good solution.oscar1 said:would you have a photo of how you set the new sender in your transom.. anything that you can provide would be appreciate. Thank you....earl1z19 said:I get the same alarm on mine every season or at least I used to. It came down to the pivot pin on the transom assembly. The sender on mine would loose contact with the pin and then stop sending a signal and then throw the code. The G3 software would show a signal coming from the sender so we would recalibrate the drives. That recalibration would last a few weeks maybe a month and then go bad again. My solution was to hang a new sender on the inside of the transom and plug it into the harness while disconnecting the old sender that is on the drive. its not the perfect solution but it works for me. Not sure if this is the same situation for you but its worth trying before you go any further.
