Re: Meet the new La Rea!
YEP!! I feel that one for sure. Sometimes I have a weird small project and I have to remind myself that it's just not worth my time, even if I do enjoy it.LaRea said:I'm glad I don't track my hours. The hourly rate is probably like a buck an hour!![]()

Re: Bilge blower & hose set-up
Yes @LaRea, I should have mentioned connecting a hose to the blower intake.

A guy my size with monkey-long arms could make a good career fixing boats.

Re: Bilge blower & hose set-up
First turn on the blower motor and confirm it works, it should blow air towards the hose that is disconnected. Replace if not working or weak airflow. Connect the new hose to the blower using a hose clamp. The other end connects to the vent on the side of the hull, again with a clamp. DO NOT OPERATE THE BOAT UNTIL THIS IS FIXED. IT SHOULD BE TURNED ON A FEW MINUTES BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE(S) TO EXHAUST ANY GAS FUMES IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND PREVENT AN EXPLOSION.

Re: Meet the new La Rea!
“Should only take an hour” is likely the most overused and incorrect statement ever.

Re: Joke of the Day
Be careful not to pull a "**** Jagger" and be a new Dad, and a great Grandfather at the same timerasbury said:So, we missed an item on our wallmart pickup so I said I would go into the store and pick up the item. I've shared that im around 67 so I've shopped for feminine products for girlfriends wives, daughters and today, granddaughter.
So I'm walking through the store with my purchase and a group of young men are pointing and snickering a little to much so I said I'm 67 with a girl friend that still needs them- got high fives after that. Only the old guys will get it..
