Re: What did you do to your boat today
As @mattie says: the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. No way you are gonna get a good sleep tonight after this.

Re: Engine
Take a look at this link. If it’s fresh water cooled it will have a heat exchanger on the front of the engine (big cylinder on top front)

It's not working for me in Chrome or Edge. Makes me appreciate how easy this forum is to use (when Vanilla is working correctly).

Re: Serpentine Belt
Going by my post in this thread the belts will be 3 years old this year. So, I’ll replace both and stick with the Gates belt. Can’t go wrong for $25.

Re: how to charge 2 batteries in a captiva 192
With your selector switch set to all you have one battery bank, connecting charger as you described will charge both. It will take longer so monitor it. It would be good idea to load test each battery to make sure they do not need replacing.

Re: 310 fuel sender info
I am happy, this company still in business and we can still get original fuel sender for our boat even Rinker is gone.YYZRC said:Mine was 27” code 22021270. Perhaps the last 3 digits are length. I also paid $300.

Re: Thoughts on this 350
I agree slanted canvas looks better, but I always preferred vertical canvas as a compromise for practical reasons. I just don't like canvas touching the back of my head when I'm sitting on the transom seat. Sea Ray express cruisers have slanted canvas in their DNA, and I hate the way they do it. Minimal shade in the cockpit, and you basically can't use the transom seat when the canvas is in place. Rinker doesn't slant it that much.

Re: Thoughts on this 350
@JoeStang that’s a great price!
You might have some maintenance to catch up on at that price but overall it looks good. First thing I saw in the engine bay is either a leaking circulating pump or raw water pump on the starboard engine. You can see where the water slung off the belt onto the generator cover, it’s probably up above on the hatch also.
