Mine all definitely go overboard. The only thing that goes in my waste tank is the toilet.

I did that last week for all my screws/bolts/etc.  Now I'm contemplating organizing my haphazard collection of wood, plywood and drywall.  :|

@YYZRC , if you end up replacing you TV antenna and can’t find the amplifier I found mine behind the lower breaker panel. I was wondering where it was and came across it the other day.

I'm thinking about converting the aft seating area to a permanent bed with a proper mattress (similar to how the v-berth is configured).  I would replace the cushions around the perimeter and build a plywood base with storage and access to the bilge pump.  Has anyone tackled something similar?

Thanks!  I found a ton of coax in there, I think a PO made a mess of the wiring.

I also discovered that I have Sirius installed.

Yea, I have Sirius also. There’s a tiny antenna on the arch for it.

Aero, could you please check the generator fuel hose size? I think it’s 1/4 and the main engine 3/8 inside diameter but would appreciate confirmation!

@YYZRC , it says 1/4 on the fuel line for the generator.

Aero, next time you're on your boat could you please measure the distance between the two wood shelves where they meet up with the 'front wall', and the width of the mirror?

My mirror and lights have to go!  Thank you!

If your going to get rid of your mirror and not use it, mine has a little bit of delamination and would like to replace it. If it’s in good shape and you want to sell, let me know.

@YYZRC , it’s kinda hard to get an exact measurement because the lights are in the way but I would say between the shelving is 55” and the mirror is 22” wide by 21” 3/8 tall at the highest point.

Sounds like a 42” TV would fit nicely!

Thank you and I will let you know re: the mirror!

What was the engine warranty back in 2008? Was it three years - same as today (SeaCore)?

@Aero, how far do you figure you can reach in to the swim platform from the bilge? I want to install the "Undermount Extended Davit System" from http://www.dinghydavits.com/ and I'd prefer to add a starboard plate to bolt up through the bottom of the swim platform rather than bolting right through to the top side.

Here's a video of the install on an old style (not hollow) platform:

    Thanks!

I’m not sure that system will work with our Rinkers. The swim platforms are too low and the dingy will drag in the water while getting on plane.

I honestly think it will be very difficult to install especially on the starboard side (remember my cleat nut thread?) it might be a little easier because your mounting it to the bottom of the platform. But like I said the starboard side will be very difficult with the blower ducts and wiring in the way. Plus the access for the swim platform narrows towards the center where the trim pump motors are.

You can see in this pic how narrow that area gets between the trim pumps.

I figured out how your northern boats look so good- they only see sunlight for four months if the year!

I can add spacers between the box beam and the yoke if/as necessary to raise the height of the dinghy.

Your cleat thread is exactly why I knew you were the guy with the answers!!

I think I can make it work as long as I can slide a metal plate in there. I will weld nuts onto the plate and position it just so.

That would be a much easier way definitely! Starboard side you will still hate.

@Aero, can I ask a favor please (again)?  Could you please measure the distance from the transom to the outer edge of the bottom of the swim platform at both the midpoint and where the starboard side dinghy davit mount is?

    Thank you!!
