I did find an unused molex connector when I was working on the boat. It was tie wrapped with the bilge pump and float wiring. I wonder if the switch powers this connector? Next time you’re on the boat see if you have one also.
Now you really have me wondering. My high water alarm float doesn’t have power to it and I checked the float, it works. I wonder if this molex is for the high water alarm float and the one that it’s currently connected to goes to the switch. Would be crazy but I have found some strange stuff on the boat.
You know what, I think the wires to the float for the high water alarm had a blue with a light blue stripe and a black wire. Would be amazing if this is why mine isn’t working. I would go out and check now but I have the fire going and my wife and kids fell asleep.
My wife woke up and I quickly ran outside to check. Holy Cr&p that was it!! I turned on the swim light then lifted the high water alarm float and it popped the swim light breaker! I checked for power at the empty molex and it has 12 volts! I have to crimp new bullets but this is crazy! This must not have worked since new!
Boy, I sure miss having access to my boat like you guys. I have an ACC switch where you have SWIM LIGHT. @aero3113, maybe your boat was scheduled to get underwater lights, but then didn't?
I have the two acc switches on my 280 and did notice the empty connectors in the back. I assumed one is underwater lights and the other is washdown since I think these were both options. I have the wash down by the swim ladder bit I think the other is for the pumped washd from the river/lake/ocean water.

I will check mine too next time I’m at the boat.
