Even with the 22” snowblower I pent about 3 1/2 hours cleaning up with the Admiral working the deck for a while till it got too much. Overall more than 24”.
Reminds me of my almost 45 years in Northern Ontario. We'd get hit like that at least 5 or 6 times a year. Followed by about 4 weeks of -40. And my old friends ask me if I'll ever move back......fat chance.
the admiral has been on my a$$ about all the diesel passats in the yard. Told me to do something with them. Towed home this 86 4runner. Shes getting the diesel swap treatment, suspension/brake system upgrade, paint, bumpers, new interior and soft top conversion. Sadly work is going slow due to long ship times on parts. By spring she should be ready for paint and the road.
@icoultha Wow you got slammed. I assume you had bare ground up until this point. BTW nice looking property.
We did @halifax212 but it was only 8th on record. Most we’ve had in one hit in 20 years we’ve been here. Yes, not a flake anywhere for a couple of weeks, cooled down recently. It will be cool tonight - 1F.
A few sights along some old forestry service roads/hiking trails we have in upstate SC. That is lake jocassee. Very clear and for South Carolina standards, very cold. Cold enough to support trout.
lots of new red bushings in the suspension. She now has 2.5 inch ball joint spacer lifts in the front along with a 2 inch diff drop to correct front cv axles angles at full droop. The suspension has all new energy suspension polyurethane bushings. All new moog ball joint and tie rod ends.
Still waiting on the new moog pitman arm and new koyo wheel bearings. Upgrading brake master cylinder to a 1995 4 runner for bigger bore and brake booster for dual diaphram. She will also have 94 4runner 4 piston front calipers. Again, all in transit. My new cross drilled/slotted rotors are in with ceramic pads. The brake lines have been extended with stainless brake lines to prevent brake fade when running hard with these over sized tires and diesel power under the hood
The wheels in using are take offs from about a 2018 4 runner. The seller said they are TRD wheels but I don't think they are.
The r150f transmission im using sitting behind the w56 i removed. I'm afraid the 300 ft lbs of torque will kill the little w56. The 150 is the same as the jeep ax15 and the w56 the jeep ax5.
