That Nor-Tech behind the plane is a $600,000 fishing boat. I wonder how the plane lands and takes off in rough water. Such as 2fters.
That Nortech is the first thing I noticed as well. There are a couple of them that boat around me and I actually seen this exact size boat roll and capsize on calm water where I boat. I witnessed it right after it happened and it’s a mystery on how it actually capsized. It was a sad day and sad story as there were I believe 13 people on it for a kids birthday party when it capsized and I could hear kids screaming where’s my dad. The dad (captain) and a preacher didn’t make it. And to make the story even sadder, the kids that lost their dad on this boat lost their mother the year before from a drowning at their dock.
I followed that story last year. What a bizarre bunch of events. Kids end up with no parents in a short period of time. I really don't understand how they capsized that Nor-Tech unless it was just a high speed maneuver of some kind. Not like it was out in the big lake & bad weather.
I looked at a boat at North Toronto Auctions near @Willhound a few months ago and the "bottom paint" was Tremclad Satin Black. I think this guy could do the same!
Isn't it nice over there randy? Different world than the east cost. We stayed on cayo Costa and upper captiva islands several times and for those out of the area they are boat in only. Cayo Costa has a state park with camping but we stayed in one if the few at the time homes. Solar powered, no power on that part of the island. Or roads, or anything.
It's awesome and a best kept secret, but not for everyone.
I loved fishing in 8’ of water. I used to lay down on an old sleeping bag on the ice and fish for lake trout by sight. Really satisfying!
Really cool. I Recently used this Hyke and Byke bag on a week-long backpack trip in the Southern Utah canyons. It was very warm, almost too warm. But my mood and the sleeping bag performed well, were easy to pack, and maintained their form. It was really fun.
