    I have often thought about how I would describe @aero3113 - “some rando” has never crossed my mind!

    Also the kid doesn’t know the difference between paper towel and toilet paper?!

    That is awesome! I do have Nebo which tells me if the battery is switched on/off - and if the boat is underway (i.e., getting stolen) - but now you're making me want to get a Ring so I also have video. Great job!

    @TonyG13 , with the ring stick up cam, I can tell if the camera is working off of shore power or internal battery also. If I lose shore power it lets me know that the camera switched over to battery. My Wifi booster and router works off of 12 volt.

    That was awesome. Knock those little punks down a notch or two. Some people think I'm a little extra because I've got cameras on anything I own.. this is exactly why. "some randos boat" - screw that little jerk. I hope you get a full on written apology and you turn that video of him vaping over to his parents.

    @J3ff , that’s what I’m planning on. Believe it or not, my wife has a coworker who lives in the town my boat is docked in with a son around the same age.

    With such a clear picture and so many of them on video it'd be a simple facebook/nextdoor post to figure out who they are! Turn their social media against them.

    I had kids (i know they are kids because my liquor was left alone) who got into my sailboat on the mooring once.  I was ok with the kids eating all the Swiss roll Debbie cakes but one of them took a dump in the dry toilet, left it to bake in the summer heat.  I guess I'm lucky the worst issue ive had is that and some  floats stolen off the deck.  Id have loved to know who was the culprit, i didn't have Wi-Fi access down there and I didn't know such equipment existed til today 

    Your boat makes for a much nicer comfy/roomier hang out vs my sailboat.  I can see why they chose your boat!   

    Now all you need is a wifi controlled drone and camera outside the boat to scare away birds remotely.

    Yes. Cameras do all kinds of cool things now. I have one on the dock and one inside. Both are listening for the high water alarm and will send a text saying "alarm detected" if it hears anything that sounds like an alarm. 

    No one can get anywhere near this boat without an alert being sent. If a person walks up to it, instead of motion detected (which it will not send a text for) it says "Person detected" and it does send a text.

    @aero3113 - Do you have pics of your setup? How and where did you run your power?

    When we went to our boat the other day our back door was open - which I thought was weird since I'm pretty good at remembering to latch it while I zipper down the canvas. Just chalked it up to getting old and forgetting. Now your video has me wondering about unwanted visitors.
