That's how the vent is on my 280EC. The steps are separate from the vent. It seems to me that the vent being low made the bilge area a little crammed with hoses, vents, shower sumps and more. That could be why they changed it.

Wish i had more time before launch, i would send you a 360 step, that is if you were interested.  I would love to get rid of the carpet.  I actually thought about doing it myself but again ran out of time.  Perhaps in the fall if you're still doing this and we are not in a new boat.  Beautiful work.

I would definitely be interested, actually spoke with someone last evening(from Illinois) with a 360 who might be interested as well. I looked at the steps online and they seem to be very similar to the 342 with the top step the only exception.

It would be a guess based on the pics here but I think the 2 steps for the 270 would work for my 312. It seems like the bottom step has the angled corner for aft access and the to step is normal shape. Let me know what you think.

Believe it or not, the steps for the 312 are exactly the same as the top and middle(backwards) steps from the 342... which I do have the templates for.

    (5) sets of FV342 steps almost completed.  Need to cut the plugs, do some finish sanding, apply sealer/finish coats and insert the rubber treads. Should be ready to ship by next week.(4) sets are already "spoken for"....

Man, you are cranking them out!  Good little production going!  Nice quality as well! You may have to get a business card that I can pass out at this year's Rinkervous!

@Aprice - Here are the steps that I was talking about that would fit your 312... the bottom step would be built opposite so the curve is on the right side.

@diggin2day1, I'm still gonna get some measurements on my two sinks.  Just waiting to get the boat back!!  I was on her yesterday and got everything else clean and ready.  The admiral saw all that you've done and really likes it.  She said to definitely have you make the sink covers and show them off during Rinkervous!

& I agree with Raybo, what's a little more money.  Who the heII knows what my bill is gonna be, but I guess just a little more can't hurt. :)

Is it a B-3 drive?  doesn't seem to be to bad a price if it's a new OEM B-3.  I think each of my B-2 drives weren't too far off from that.  If I had known when I bought my first drive that a year later I'd be replacing the other, I may have switched over to B-3s.  (mainly due to having no hubs)
