***SOLD*** I am selling the first pair of steps that I made for my FV270.... They are basically the same as the steps that I am building now with these exceptions: 1) The screw holes(on the underside) aren't covered with plugs(nobody sees the underneath anyway, but it bothers me). 2) They have a bit more of a brown tint and are finished in polyurethane(instead of the Waterlox). They still include all stainless hardware, rubber grip treads and are 2" thick cherry. Here are some pictures:
@diggin2day1 - I'm not sure I have any pics readily available, but I can take some next time I'm there. They look pretty straight forward and all the same size and rectangular. I haven't seen any 390 or 400s without wood steps already. Just the 390 missing the rubber tread.
Hi Jason, your boat has a 270 top step and a slightly larger bottom step. I have a set made and ready to ship(just messaged you). Here is what the steps look like:
Like I said Handy... a bit of a learning curve, but I'll never go back to polyurethane(like you said... lol). Thanks again for pointing me in the direction of Waterlox!
Now the carpet is next. Its really getting old looking. Going to rip it up and put down a cherry wood floor. Most likely get it at HomeDepot unless Diggin comes up with one soon.....lol BTW Those steps fit in perfectly and the workmanship is great. I would highly recommend them to everyone......
