I saw a few comments on the upcoming playoffs & I didn't want to hijack a thread, so thought I would start a new one. 

Here in CBJ land, there's  a buzz all over town on the series with the Capitals. The FedEx man just dropped off my tickets!!

    So many strong teams this year!  Vegas, Nashville ... sure, but a lot of teams are legit contenders.

    I wasn't expecting that!  Needless to say its a pretty happy day here in the Burgh.  Of course we had a boat club meeting at 8:00 last night.  We do have cable at the club so we cheered between discussion topics lol.

    Yeah, Bruins kicked butt last night.  Caps, we'll they sure blew their first game.  I feel they needed both of their first home games.

    The Caps are using a bold strategy.  If you want to truly crush the soul of a wildcard team, start by losing two games at home.  Then simply win four straight, so that the wildcard team's final loss happens in its own barn.

    They have the Jackets right where they want them.

    Definitely another disappointing game.  I turned it off and went to bed when they tied it up at 3-3.
