Two thumbs up! Were those all plug and play? or did you have to do modification to the wiring?
Ya mostly plug and play but had to wire up a nmea back bone so everything talks to each other still working on it lots of calls to simrad and mercruiser but its getting there slowly still have to connect radar vhf camera active trim and a couple of other things
@rasbury even with all the upgrades I'm doing now I still won't reach that number give or take I'm probably in the 22 to 24 range into the whole build including electronics
I really like the hatch light, that's on my list while im installing new deck lights.
Did you install a sensor where the lights come on when the hatch is opened? I have some N.C. switches laying around the shop and thought it would be cool to have the light go on and off in the hatch like a refrigerator. Also keeps me from forgetting to cut them off
@javhav. Tip of the hat to you sir. You didn't just restore the boat. You have made it look like it's much newer. I would have not had the confidence to even attempt that project. Very nice work.
@LaRea thanks I appreciate but it's definitely not a wrap it's all airbrushed took me 2 weeks between body work and paint has 7 layers euro clear I also did a custom interior and lots of fab work
@shawnmjr yes I fiberglass a sub box and that's were the amplifier is mounted also I'm just waiting on the jl pods to come in also did a similar set up on this seadoo I have 7 jet ski to do
@aero3113 no my friend did them he was supposed to do them last summer but he went threw a bad patch in life but we got him back on the right track now he works for me so I guess I have an upholstery department now lol what do u think of them so far
@javhav , I have one or two cushion I would like to have recovered, but I’ve been thinking about recovering everything in a new pattern. Will probably do it in a season or two.
You are a very talented man that much have a good teacher's along the way. therefor you were a good student. And a better man for lifting up your buddy the upholstery guy. And giving him a place to be, and purpose. I hope you can hustle up some work to keep him busy.
I've been trying to figure out where to put the strip light I got for the engine compartment. That gives me a great idea.
Love the dash too. I have the poor mans version with just 1 chartplotter and a vessel view. I still have the multi gauges which are redundant. I like the idea of pulling them out and going with dedicated fuel gauges.
