@javhav why is there a vent grill on the back of the port side forward seat?

now does it have full canvas or is still on the list

How do you have the time to do all of this? Heck I don't have time to wash mine these days much less re build it! You do need to do a power point from start to finish, would be a very interesting transformation to see. Really nice work, hat's off!

Thanks @javhav. I saw Moler and thought it was a new company. Probably spell check correcting from Melors. I have contacted them. They don't have my template but I might go ahead and do one.

After following this thread I’m waiting for @javhav to bust out a sewing machine and spool of thread and make canvas from scratch lol.
You mean after he grows the cotton and spins his own thread? 😄

I've made my own canvas. It's a lot of work.

Thats a good height just did mine and i should of went up and inch in the back. I end up with a scum line just above the paint. The admiral puts to much stuff in the boat.

It's a treat watching your build.  You have left no stone un-turned on that boat. Definitely going to be worth it!

So, I have been a bit MIA and come back to this thread that I totally missed.  I am in awe of your ability to do it all.  This boat may be the best looking 342 on the planet when your done!

It's not hard - you take a few yards and sew them together into a big panel - then drape and mark. Then sew, drape, and mark. Sew, drape, and mark. Once you have the top panel done you start adding the side curtains. Sew, drape, mark. I got quality fabric for under $500, and I spent about a week working on it. I have a buddy who traded me the finish work (it's not much - sewing in some supporting webbing) for some IT work. HE has a long-arm machine that'll make it much easier.
