Nice @YYZRC ! I’ve been thinking about doing this. I replaced my struts when I first bought the 330 in September and forgot about this modification.

I also got the new throttle cables installed and finished the generator tune-up (anode, fuel filter, plugs, impeller).  I also got the big orange filter in and some of the new canvas up.

    Overall, a successful weekend (FINALLY!)

Any suggestions on how to get my B3 drive out of reverse?  I was cleaning the throttle bodies and my admiral shifted into reverse without using neutral.  Seems like it wants more force than reasonable to get back into neutral.  I know you're not supposed to shift when not running...

Aero, what weight oil are you using?  PO left me 2 brand new unopened jugs of 25W40 quicksilver.

@YYZRC that’s what I use. You might need 2 more quarts if you have 2 jugs (2 gallons).

There was a really thick layer of greasy dust on the butterflies!  Also replaced the IAC filters and cleaned the flame arrestors.

Perfect!  What coolant did you use in the Kohler?  I need to top it up.  My anode was gone as well.

Never even thought about being able to do longer struts. That is way better.
Here's a DIY for installing longer struts:

I need to replace the freshwater inlet as I dropped the cap in the lake yesterday.  Brand was ITT which seems to be Jabsco 44411 now?

Perfect, that's what I thought.  Thanks Aero!

Another random question - is the waste outlet the same size as the fresh water fill?

I want to switch to this:

In case anyone needs the info for future reference, the shift and throttle cable lengths for the Rinker 330 or 340 are 18' and 23'.

Has anyone replaced the Vacuflush flush ball assembly?  My ball doesn't return to the fully closed position and I suspect it's due to a bent shaft.  Looks like the shafts are brass now.

I haven’t but did look at it when I replaced the bowl seal. It doesn’t look like too tough a job.

@YYZRC I've replaced it a couple years ago.  Pretty simple task, you just separate the toilet at the large clamp/band that goes around.  It also gives an opportunity to really give the bowl a good cleaning.  Also buy the rubber rings that the ball seal against.

@YYZRC Wow, not sure how that shaft would get bent. I do know somewhere it says when removing foot from flush petal, DON'T let it up easy, but rather slide it off quickly so it snaps back up.  Mine started sealing better when I switched to that technique.

I'm not sure if it is bent or not, I've read that the old plastic shafts can deform over time.  I assume my shaft is plastic, not brass [and I hope Rick doesn't get on this thread :# ]

    I will try your technique!!

I want to add a proper shower set-up in my 330. Any thoughts on where I could mount the volume control?

Yep. Even with exchange they're a good deal in Canada. But usually I buy in USD and ship to my buddies place in FLA and bring them back with me. About half price for the magnesium I use.

Yes - I am dragging down the average income significantly! $1.5m coupe across from me (above the VV screen). Stunning.
