    Oh man that's ugly, they even elongated the stud holes. I hope your alignment goes well.

    Transom Assemblies are in. Now to secure the wiring etc to the transom and a final clean up of the bilge before installing the engines.

    Noticed that the bottom of the cut out in the transom is lower than the transom plate. Drilled a 3/16" drainage hole to stop any water accumulating.

    Great job tackling this and fixing it up. Thanks for sharing your steps involved.
    It gives some of us less knowlegable (like myself) things to keep an eye on. And plan for future inevitable fixes.

    Both engines and drives are installed, now to re-install the house battery bank, tidy up the wiring on the transom, final wash of the center bilge and put the lid on.

    Yea.  Mine too...used a clock. That looks really nice but I did not see any structural plus to refinishing so I sealed everything back up. It was a poor job rinker 😡

    Checking the engine hatch installation and final fitting of the new canvas. Changed to black from factory beige.

    That's nice that you have so much room to work. Around here they pack us in like sardines. This year I finally got a good spot between two support columns, so now I have room to polish and wax 360 degrees.

    @LaRea I will probably launch mid April just to make sure everything is OK and do Sea Trials. I am booked to go onto a truck May 03 to go up to Lefroy on Lake Simcoe, my old cruising/partying marina back 40 + years ago.  B)
    @TonyG13 I am fortunate as I am in my repair shop, we have just taken some boats out after repairs were finished.

    Final checks today prior to launch Monday Morning
    Installed garboard plug
    Checked trim tab operation 
    Checked drives for trim operation
    Filled water tank and flushed out the antifreeze.
    Hung lines and fenders. 
    Name graphics almost finished.
    Run out anchor chain, checked bitter end, all secure. Marked the chain every 10 meters (35'). Also the end of chain before reaching the end.
    Engine fluid levels.
    Temperatures have cooled and a little rainy next week.

    Launched on Monday and did a sea trial today. A couple of minor leaks and the genny ground cable not connected, all fixed. I guess it is time to close this thread. A big thanks to all who contributed it was a great help. I will post about our new home on Lake Simcoe and any adventures we might have.

    @Grahamu how does the hull look in terms of osmosis blisters?  Any concerns?

    @YYZRC, when I had the survey done in August the surveyor noted a small area with minor blisters midship stbd side, he was not concerned. The bottom has been epoxied and when I checked a month ago they were not there.

    That’s good news!  I am considering epoxying and bottom painting mine at the end of the season but I refuse to run the bottom paint up the sides of the hull. I think it ruins the look.

    Nice!! Glad to see when something actually works out.

    I'll start another one mid june when my motor COMES BACK OUT for the 3rd time since I've owned it :)
