    Yeah that looks like it was broke on the rack and the out down oil absorbent.

    With no skeg damage, that has to be a side impact.

    Did he always have the holes for a skeg guard? Could it have cracked when they drilled the holes?

    It's a Powerquest with twins. Had stainless skeg covers. That what the thru pin holes are for. Obviously the piece is missing now.

    Man I hope it wasn't from forking it in & out of the water.
    Really good split in the bottom of the gearcase. If it was a bottom strike the stainless cover must've taken the hit.

    Gonna find out for sure. Hope his summer isn't wrecked. Hard to get service & parts.

    found a deal I couldn't turn down. Not perfect but daily driver condition with working AC.  Efi 22re and 5 speed.  Sadly it's 4.10 gears but i have a set of 4.30s at the house.   I needed a fuel tank for my diesel 4 runner swap...how do I tell the admiral?

    Good call fellas. Tech told me damage was from forklift.

    He wasn't making excuses for the fella that caused it - but he said that Powerquest is a tough boat to fork. With the narrow beam & twin motors, there's not much room to miss with the forks. 

    Unfortunately for the owner I'm guessing the repair will be tough to solve in short order with backlogs. I'm sure marina will expedite best they can.

    Good thing he has twins. His boating season will just be a little slow this year 😃

    Seems like it could be welded for a temporary fix if the drives are gonna be many weeks out for delivery and install.

    Just that there's like NO scratches on the drive at all, not even on the side. An impact that hard, you'd expect to see scratches all over the black paint. Maybe the scratches are on the opposite side?? 

    That does look ugly and expensive. Wow.

    Nice set up Aero.  Are those stones precast or natural local stone? We have a lot of slate here, nothing on the white side unless you buy precast concrete pavers.

    @halifax212 they are precast. There actually grey/tan. For some reason they look white in the pics. If you look behind the pool we had a retaining wall put in with natural stone.
