  Another example of why I never used a stern anchor. Wind changes and you're fumbling around in the dark trying to fix things. A good bow set, with bridle and set an anchor drift alarm on both your chart plotter and phone and you're all set for a restful night's sleep. Just my 2 cents.

  @YYZRC did you dive for the anchor?  Maybe somebody ran over the float, or the float line let go.

  It was a small cove. I checked the shoreline for the float. I’m certain the rogue sailboaters absconded with it. Maybe it will make their lives a bit better? They washed their dishes in the lake so their new stern anchor is probably a real luxury.

  Yes, being craned off a cargo ship.  I think about that video every time I'm on my boat in a TravelLift sling (something I really should not do).

  Years back with our 25' we were arriving at the yacht yard and the crane operator just yelled at us to drive between the slings. They rigged us and up and out of the water we popped as he swung us around to our trailer. A little surreal. Don't think I'd do it again. Just like skydiving, did it once - and that was enough.

  I'd never get aboard while the lift's tires are moving.  A few times, I've been aboard while lowering the boat into the water.

  the power train is assembled.  Will start on removing body from frame sometime next week. 
  
  Trans is a v6 5 speed found in 1988 to 1995 toyota  4 runner and pickup truck.

  You say thay because you're not in a land locked lake.
  
  If you look at that coral, it's 90% dead.  The reefs now start in Georgia some 150 plus feet deep and extend up to NC.
