So not the most energetic project.. I have 4500 series 1 controller that they no longer sell the cover for. Mine looked like trash and aggravated me every time I took the boat out. Got some chrome wrap and a new decal. Not as good as new but much better.

@raybo3 I cleared the cache and all that...parts of the forum were completely unreadable last night. Better today but still glitchy in lots of areas for me. Never seen this before.

I received the drain fitting assembly today. Hopefully it will warm back up outside so I can install it!

I descaled both engines. Port had a lot of brown come out, starboard was pretty clean. I had it drain into the bilge then into a bucket outside so I don’t kill the grass. There was a hose that was crunchy on the port side, I took it off and cleaned it out, a ton of scale! I also replaced the drain tube. You can see where it was leaking. Now I need to get her in the water and go for a good run to blow everything out!

With the new oil pressure senders in they’re reading about 45 at idle where the old ones were reading 40. If I rev the engines slightly they would climb to about 60. I’ll have to see what they read when I can cruise and get the engines at running temp.

I had power on the other day and couldn’t get my wired carbon monoxide detector to reset, it kept beeping. It’s original to the boat so it needed to be replaced. I also use a battery powered one in the cabin as the primary. Original says replace by June 2010 and looks like it was manufactured August 2nd 2007. New one says replace 60 months after retail sale. They had it wired with 2 sets of butt splices, I just pulled on the wires and there was extra slack to be able to use one set. I used @Aqua_Aura ‘s heat shrink connectors 👍🏻.

I also noticed that the starboard side drain tube was seeping like the port side was, have that on order.

Balmy. Didn’t get over 36 here today, was in Pittsfield MA around lunchtime and it was snowing.

I bought it from a seller on eBay. I just checked and looks like they no longer have them in stock. I believe the new version is flush mounted and you would need to cut the square to fit.

@YYZRC I just found this seller who looks like they have a bunch of stock. Expensive, but at least you can replace it. I got mine for $51.10.

Stripped and painted the arch bases the best I could. The paint was heavily cracked and bad pitting on the face. I’m going to wet sand the sides and give it one more coat in a few days.
