Rinker Yan / Handyman 342 blast from the past! - Hey guys, having a great visit from our beloved Handy (Steve) who made is way north with his wife in his RV to Nova Scotia Canada for a visit last week. Of course we had to hit the waters of Mahone Bay in my 212 and venture over to the working site of the ongoing treasure hunt on Oak Island. Good ol' Steve sitting in the captains chair until I had to boot him out so we wouldn't run aground out there haha. For those that know him, we have had a few good conversations about "current affairs" as well
Steve says hi to the old gang and we enjoyed playing tour guide with them all last week.
This floating pier in Paducah Kentucky handles spring floods up to 50 feet. It's an impressive work of civil engineering. Now I understand why there aren't a lot of marinas on this part of the Ohio River!

We just did a road trip up north and a small town on the border Calais (US) St Stephen (CA) has a waterway with a 22’ tide when we were there on Oct 25. Flood prep is good and hope not needed, these guys twice a day!
