@06rinker270 , looks like one more nice one for sure!  I may have to go down on a friend's boat since mine is done, but that may just get me into more work instead now that I think about it!  Enjoy the weather!

A rainy day on the boat is better than a rainy day at home.
We did however have the sunniest summer in ages here in CT. My solar output on my house indicated as such as well.

....now this IS a "Sad Time Of Year" .....the first snow fall in the form of a snow blizzard on the St. Lawrence River. N.Y. State is normally as clear as glass across the river. Not today :-(

@Michael T You can send pictures of the water down there, much better than snow, and try and keep the sand out of your crack. Hahaha, have a safe trip.

@Cable Guy Greg, great looking cover. Like the way it is sewed-up. Looks like side vents? Great trailer too! No leaves on the trees, guess we know what's coming!
  • Cableguy GregCableguy Greg Member Posts: 5,077 ✭✭✭✭✭
Thanks MT. Yes, there are two vents on each side. I got the cover last summer from @coverguy and it has been great. I had a Venture trailer and I didn't like how the boat sat on it since it wasn't "made" for the boat, so I had a Trailmaster trailer built for the boat. This is the first time having the boat on it and it went on like a dream. The snow will be flying soon...

@Dream_Inn I did clean it up but I love poking at you guys! I have said before, with my budget for fun, if I could not run my boat year round, I don't think I would do it, especially if I had to spend all the winterize/storage and un winterize expense.  It just would not work for me. Even in the "winter" we are still on the water a couple of times a month at our local marina or perhaps a little further up the river weather permitting.

Ras - yes the season here in NE is only about 6 months long. I spend the winter dreaming up new places to go next summer and cool things I can add to my boat. The fact that summer is fleeting I think adds to my appreciation of those beautiful days on the water with family and friends.

Is that a 280 EC with a radar arch and a Fischer cover? If so, how hard was the cover to put on? How much time did it take? Is there a frame inside? Any pictures?

    Thanks in advance!
