Re: 2005 270 rear filler cushions
They sit on a little lip molded into the fibreglass around the perimeter of the area they fill. Between the front edge of the aft seat and the back side of the curved section of the front Port seating area.

@J3ff that’s really nice.
I don’t think the asking price is high for that boat.

Re: Can this eisenglass be saved?
Yep thats the way to replace them. For anyone who can sew, or has an interest in sewing, you can buy a Sailrite machine for under $1k and do this stuff yourself. Tons of online video's to show you how. My machine paid for itself within a year replacing bad eisenglass, fixing broken stiching and zippers, patching rips, etc... on my canvas and family members canvas and sails.mattie said:Buddy of mine just had the eisenglass replaced at marine canvas shop. They just sewed a new sheet over the old one —— then removed the old panel with a razor blade. Pretty slick. Not expensive at all.

Re: 270 to a 410?
"... this boat needs quite a bit of TLC, both mechanically and cosmetically ..."
Don't get me wrong - for $20k, it's worth saving. You won't find an undamaged 410 hull for less than $20k, so forget about negotiating price. From the pix, it looks like a Bravo 3 shifter binnacle, so you'd have to assume the outdrives are shot and transoms are leaking. That's $40k before you even look at the engines.
It would make a GREAT floating condo! Tow it, replace the canvas, reupholster the cockpit seating, replace the appliances, you're in a nice condo for $40k.
