The storm had a really tight center.  The wind was 50 mph from the west, and 30 seconds later it was 50 mph from the east.  Coming through Rome on the Erie Canal, we saw dozens of big trees down.

With apologies to forum members from upstate New York -- the 40-mile run from Frankfort to Oneida Lake is b-o-r-i-n-g!  It's about 200 feet wide and lined with trees so you can't see anything.  You can't go fast because the speed limit is 10 mph.  At one point you go in a perfectly straight line for over an hour.  We still managed to enjoy it, but it was nice getting back out on open water in Oneida Lake!

Headed to Bald Eagle Days event on the river, 4 of us came down together. Fun to be back on my boat. I got my new stereo and amp installed and running.

    It did happen 😂

    Fusion 770 stereo
    8 channel 2400 watt amp
Fusion 6.5" LED speakers for the exterior

The wiring is a mess currently. We got home from our San Juan trip and the next day I spent 8 hours on the boat getting it ready for the trip we are on. I'll finish the wire clean up when we get back.

Nice and peaceful at our cove tonight. Heading out on a cruise this Sunday, if the weather holds.

A 105 footer came in for a few hours yesterday.  Sure was a beauty!

The marina across the street from my home marina was bought by Under Armor owner a year or so ago.  Well, they finally got to try out their new toy (the 75T lift)

I had my 10 year old nephew at the helm also, I was tempted to go take a seat and relax with everyone else 😂. Everly, my 7 year old asked to try then Ella my 5 year old couldn’t be left out. It was nice to see they have an interest, I hope it grows!⚓️🥰

Looks like he couldn't stuff it if he tried..he looks lucky. I don't have the experience for florida inlets- we have some bad ones east coast. I never go out in the ocean living in Central florida- no where to go- gulf stream is like 50 miles out...west coast usually pretty calm..k

Ranney Falls flight lock on the Trent River in Ontario.  Total rise is 48 feet in a tandem lock.  This is the lower lock.  When the doors open, you pull forward into the upper lock.  There's just enough room for us and the 47-footer we've been traveling with.  So cool!

And I thought E17 at 40” was a big lift.

We were in Erie for a short holiday. Presque Isle is a great place to visit.

@SimcoeRinker400 - we anchored last night near Gannons Narrows and got to hang out with @mvn!  Turns out their place is a 5-minute boat ride from here.  They showed up with --- a box of BUTTER TARTS!!  For folks who have never been to Canada, butter tarts are a major thing here.  They are fabulous!  I had one last night and another this morning!
