    I had done them a couple years earlier while trying to sort out a trim issue.  It's good PM for any boat over 10 years old!

    I used a similar coating redoing my truck interior. Skip tge Beach and try this first. It's does an amazing durable job I really did not expect!

    Yyzrc.  Wow that’s a big job. It always surprises me how much us boaters are willing to endure (financially and physically) to enjoy boating. I would just love for one season to be able to pull out my boat and not have a big job/ repair waiting for me.  Good job.

    @goalie59 I had so much fun with it, actually. The admiral was a huge help and we both learned a lot. Next weekend I hope to have the first mate learning how to align the engine/transom assembly and installing the drive. 

    It is for sure expensive but for me and my crew, the memories aren’t just the boating itself.

    Was in stock at the chandlery at Bay Port.  I think it was $20 for the can.

    Bought a tool on eBay to remove the gimbal ring. Turns out it wasn’t strong enough!

    One drive aligned and reinstalled. Marina has a slick drive lift that makes it easy to position.

    @YYZRC , isn’t it nice to have the camera set up! I have the boat in my backyard now so don’t really need it for security but use it to keep an eye on the trickle charger.

     Have my camera setup to catch anything that tries to come in ... We have had issues with racoons getting into people's boats so I have the camera so put it on the floor just in case.

     I have 2 blowers.  The two hoses coming down from the top of the hatch are connected to vents and just direct sand/water away from the engines from the transom locker.

    Muriatic acid diluted 50/50 with water. Spray on hose off. Nasty stuff. Don’t inhale and wear gloves.

    @YYZRC Does the muriatic acid etch the props at all?

    Not in my experience. It does etch concrete!
