Now I want to go remove and clean my trim pumps! I’ve been actually wanting to do it for a while. Would be nice to empty the reservoirs and put fresh fluid in.

Naturally every pulley and bracket is rusted beyond recognition, so lots of wire brushing + POR15. Some new pulleys as well.

Rebuilt sea water pumps with air drain delete.

@YYZRC So, for the POR15, do you use the rust remover or just a paint?

@Dream_Inn I am using POR15 top coat after attacking the rust with a wire wheel drill attachment.

I used the same top coat on my outdrives last year and was very happy with the durability underwater all season (5 months). Not sure how well it will work on the rust but it can’t be worse than the OEM Merc paint spray cans. That stuff was junk.

Cool fuel filters. Probably could have got another season out of them.

Painted the brackets and flushed the cooling line.

@YYZRC check the regulator filter also. Probably won’t see any paint but with that corrosion on the filter, it’s possible it made it up there.

Yeah. One of my modules was clean as a whistle. The other, not so much.

Where did you source the regulator from @aero3113

I thought Marineengine.com but I definitely don’t pay this much. I think I actually found a seller on eBay selling new with the part number I needed. Be careful not to pinch the O-rings going back in, lube them up.

We bought our lake house 13 years ago. Figured we would have rehab done in 2 years. 13 years later there is still a list of things to be done.

Maybe you’ve thought to yourself “I wonder what’s going on in my fuel rails?”

This is what was going on in mine. NSFW.

Rolling the dice on some new China injectors.

Generator pan is completely rotten. Both sides of the bilge hold water (they don’t slope to the center). Really poor design.

Anyway, new pan on the way.

    Getting ready for paint.

I never found schematics for the 370.  Here's the package for the 342 in case that helps.

I don’t have any wire schematics either.

I installed a Progressive Automations 30” stroke hatch actuator. Couldn’t have worked more perfectly. Hatch opens almost vertical using the OEM mounting points.

Started messing with the Kohler. I think I can get it to go.

New sea water pump assembly on the way. Plus new plugs, coupler, fuel and oil filters.
