Standing in the aft cabin access hole to work on the vacuflush is insanity. Although maybe less insane than removing the icemaker on the 350 to access it. 

Anyway, it’s out, and I’m going to relocate it for easier access (and further from my sleeping kids’ head). 

Also new waste line run from the head.

@YYZRC bleed the injector before you start the generator. It will save you a lot of trouble if it doesn’t start and you get random electrical codes.

You have me thinking. Why didn’t they install the vaccuflush in the bilge on the 330? Plenty of room for it in there.

Yes I always wondered the same. My buddy has a Sea Ray 320 and the Vacuflush is in the bilge. Quieter and much easier to access. I assume it’s ignition protected.

Did you not have to remove your icemaker to get to the vacuflush?  Why does the vaciflush pic look like in the background the generator muffler?

I've also noticed it looks like you have an additional shelf on your port side in the engine room (the pic that shows you started painting).  I'd love to see another pic of that area, I believe it is different than any other 390 or 400s.

In my aft cabin there is a large-ish access door port side behind the shower. It affords access to the shower sump. I climbed in there to access the Vacuflush. 

I think on your boat the access door is smaller and in the same cabinetry as the rest of the boat. 

I have the genny muffler stored in the icemaker hole whilst I paint the bilge.

ok, that makes sense.  So, that large access door on my boat is a fully finished closet (access plate in bottom to shower sump).  I take out the ice maker to get to the vacuflush.

Found this cute unshielded wire in the Kohler harness. Totally rotted out. Also a pin where the prongs have corroded away. New pins on the way.

Tell me where you get those pins.  I bought some because mine had corroded as well, but they aren't quite right.  I've thought about just replacing it with a much better connector.

Everything I've been replacing on my boat has been getting a deutsch connector.

I believe only a few of the pins are actually used (to control the remote switch at the cabin electrical panel, I assume).

I started with the 'stamped' pins because they were less expensive, but I have trouble crimping them (most likely user error). I much preferred the 'solid contact' pins that have the barrel style crimp. the terminations felt significantly more secure, and I was able to crimp them much faster. Also this kit comes with a lot more 2-way and 4-way connectors, and those are the ones I use the most.

I used a lot of pieces from JR Ready through Amazon. JR Ready sells kits, but they are expensive, I think it's because they come with a 'nice' crimping tool. I got a cheap tool and it worked great.

Lastly, I also bought some 3 and 4 way splitters from Pro Wire here: https://www.prowireusa.com/deutsch-dt-series-splitters

Those were really helpful for wiring up the circuits for my LED lighting. I was able to swap lights in and out of different zones without having to redo any terminations.

I have a 2005 360 and mine is bad I believe, but have NOT Found it yet.
I thought it was behind dash but maybe it is up by the windless itself?

@tricountytrail it is almost certainly mounted on the starboard side of the anchor well. If you remove the starboard speaker you should be able to access it.

I didn’t lift it. I just slid it and rolled it over - no problem (and I am weak).

New cockpit fridge. Upsized from the 65 to an 80.

Got the generator starboard back on, it is held on with 4 t nuts. 

I will be moving the generator forward (where the water heater was) and it will sit on 1” starboard slats so it’s out of the water. It’s just temporarily in its usual place while I paint.

@YYZRC , do you know the size of the barb for the generator oil drain? 3/8”? I want to bring a piece of Tygon with me today.
