    I agree.  Over the weekend, the admiral switched the TV over to a Hockey game, and for a split second, my mind switched and looked at the TV (I was doing Legos with my daughter).  She started laughing!  I then thought, oh man that was a mean trick!

    Growing up in the south we never had spontaneous ice hockey games break out, we did have our share of street hockey games.  

    Sadly my kid doesn't have my natural skating ability or we'd be making good use of all the empty retail parking lots.  I have 2 or 3 hockey goals.

    So over the weekend I watched the Caps game 5 win for the cup again and it was just as exciting! Also watched the most devastating game 7 loss in Bruins history for the cup. Chokes.  Bahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha

    I cant wait.  The last of the major sports ill watch.  Im tired of all my favourite sports becoming polictical platforms.  Sports are about competition and tradition, not politcics.

    Also I hate philly and the caps😝

    I agree Rick, I don't watch any other professional sports.  I do love college football but if they start paying them, I'll stop that too.

    Agree. Never a flash player, but dependable and steady. Looking at his stats he's listed as second all time on assists behind Gretzky and 5th overall in points. Not a high goal scorer (but got his share) but an all around "team player" which is why he'll make a good GM.

    I thought he did well in Raleigh.  They really built up a hockey town in the south.  It all starts with the youth hockey support.  When our ahl team stopped with all the support no one cared about it.  You put the local team logo on the rink and jerseys of the kids and you develop life long fans.

    Being a Boston Bruins fan Ron Francis was one of the most respected players around here. We knew how good he was. Of course we saw him quite a bit when he was in Hartford. Great player for sure.

    Let's Go Caps!  I know that game didn't mean anything for the playoffs, but it meant a lot to me as a fan.  Let's get on with it!

    I watched a little of the PIT-PHI game.  That's tough for me to watch, because I know it will result in a win for one of them.   :s

    The Caps were rusty too.  The power play looked awful, and both teams were dragging in the third period.
