I snapped this photo over the summer near Leonardtown MD.  There's a beautiful anchorage a few hundred yards past the town's public pier.  We ate lunch in town, then slept on the hook and woke up to this.

To fully appreciate it, see it on a big computer screen.  Right click the image and choose "open image in new tab".

Canon Rebel T7, 55-250mm lens, no special settings but I converted it to grayscale and tweaked it a little in GIMP.

Dare I ask ... what's the point of moving that boat by land?

That boat doesn't look real. It's so big!

Did this happen recently and does anyone know where it was moving from and to, factory to the water?

I think the one being towed is 100’. I believe I read that on The Qualified Captain.

Doesn’t look no where near as big in the water.

Until you consider that's a 3 story building behind it!

Ok so is it the Viking 92EB?

It’s possible, and they’ll add the upper bridge after transport.

Apparently the boat is a 100 foot Jim Smith.  Never heard of them. They are in Stuart Florida. Scroll down a little bit on the Facebook page.

I like the Viking 92 Enclosed Bridge the best. Without the tower. Much cleaner lines.

Yes she is. The official picture. I think this one is going to do real well at the majors at the end of the season.

  Fixer-upper available...

This is sitting in our harbor parking lot. No sure of the whole story, but I think it was pulled out of the water in the area where they are redoing the docks.
