Looking good.  I thought about these motors today as I was out there in the cold degreasing and doing touch-up paint.  Black paint is nice because it hides problems, but it can never look as good as gloss red.

I am unfamiliar with cruiser drive systems. Is that hydraulic pump attached to the bellhousing?

That is the transmission, the shaft comes though the transmission and bolts to the round piece. The motor sits in the boat with the front of the motor facing the transom.

Can't wait to see it in the boat. I'm wondering about the access as I am noticing you have stuff on the flywheel side of the engine that I have on the front. Is that serpentine belt easy to access when it's in the boat or more importantly how easy is access for the impeller replacement?

Plenty of room behind the motors. The hard part is the coupler is about 6 inches from the fire wall.

Not a very good video but you get the idea. It was 12° out side at the time so the driveway turned it to ice.

Nice @reneechris14 !! It’s great that you’re getting to run the engines before you install them.

Glad I did there is a plug in the head that was never tightened.had to take the manifolds back off. No big deal they will have to come off for installation. It's the only way to fit between the motors to do the alignment.
