Rinker 350/360 2007+ Random Topics

Seller accepted my offer on a 2008 350 today. 6.2 Mercs with Bravo III. White hull with blue canvas. Excited to start again but will be transferring a bunch of parts from my 330 to the 350!

    No good pics yet. Boat is still wrapped. Was not in the water last year so it needs some love for sure!

    Bow thruster is ordered. I’m excited for the 6.2s with my four by four props.

    First project is replacing the speakers and head unit. Does anyone know the size of the sub in the 350 and if it’s single or dual voice coil? Thanks!

    Where are you located? Once I get my new canvas from Ameritex, you are welcome to my old canvas if you want it and if youre in Ontario.

    Got on the boat today and started swapping in my VV7 equipment. Only 122 hours on the motors!  B)

    Pulled the props today and there’s some growth around the collar (?) where the forward prop sits. What’s the best way to clean it off? I didn’t want to use something abrasive for fear of damaging the paint.

    Dash panels are mostly in, moved my new wheel over from the 330. Working on wiring up the N2K, bow thruster and VV now.

    I must say that the build quality/finishing of the 350 is better than the 330 of the same era. It seems like the cabinetry in particular is better thought out and implemented.

    On shore power, do the engine start batteries charge if the green light is off on the panel?

    The “shower head” arrangement is ridiculous. I had no idea it was just the pull-out faucet same as my 330 had but mounted in the shower stall!

    What is the recommended replacement to enable a real shower?

    From what I see it’s trim up. Which makes sense usually blue (sky) is trim up and green (grass) is down.

    That makes sense but this one is part of the lower dash harness.  Thinking about it more, I think it might be the illumination for the stereo remote.
