    Thanks guys, im new to all this so its good to hear positive comments! I think the guy at Rinker who did the fiberglass was inspired by the ocean because there was a lot of ups and downs in it!

    Found some leaks today, Both the skylights leak, and have one around the windshield drips inside where the wiring harness for the bow lights and horns go into the ceiling.

    Question, on the floor i am running the teak and holly flooring length ways, im also applying it to the seat fronts, would i be better turning that so it runs vertical?
    here is a vary bad mock up, the left side is what i think will look better

    Thank you for the compliment, my concern with it all running the same direction is because of the v shape the side pieces would be on an angle unless I cut those separate? Like this

    List of jobs still to do after floor,
    1 Remove old decals on Port side
    2 Polish port and starboard sides
    3 Rework engine room cover, re position hinges so it sits flush and repair holes left   by PO attempts to repair
    4 Build new skylights from scratch as no one sells them
    5 Wood railing tops need refinishing
    6 Fix down water tank in engine room
    7 Investigate a ground wire that not connected, its labeled as trim ground

    This is my plan for the table base.

    Im concerned about a surface mount table base with the padding underneath the vinyl will distort the floor around the base when screwed down, now i need to find a plastic or wood spacer the same thickness as the vinyl.

    Run them all same direction. If you go perpendicular on the sides you will have lots of joints which can go uneven on you. Long runs can be secured a whole lot better.

    Im going with all the same direction, i will only have 2 joints running the length of the floor, never done vinyl laying before so im unsure how the seams will work out

    Took advantage of the nice day to remove the old decals, i used one of the rubber decal removers in a power drill, it did a nice job of removing them took about 15 minutes per side.

    Thanks guys, i have not installed the floor yet its been too cold, the glue instructions say it must be between 50 -100f and its going to be a while before we see those temps :(
    So i'm working on the toilet, waste tank, and a new table i'm going to build to match all the new wood i have put in, also going to build a new wrap around seat where the "sun lounger" seat is next to the helm, i will be buying the cushions but building the base.
    I'm looking for a plastic veneer that i can wrap the marine plywood base for the seat, any ideas where i can get that?
    My fiberglass skills and experience are non existent so i'm not even going to attempt a full fiberglass build.

    Keep the lines running the same direction.  You'll be happier even if it takes more time.  I think it would be **** your eyes to adjust if perpendicular to each other.  Stay parallel.  Awesome work!
