Re: Waeco fridge only works on DC
Installed the fridge today. I like the looks of the stainless! The shiny is because plastic is still on it.

Re: What did you do to your boat today
I installed my new fridge today. Very happy with it!

I also installed my 80 ft of chain with 120 ft of line that I spliced together. Also has the new mantus connection that fits nicely.

Plenty of room in the locker for the additional chain. I had to loo after @LaRea said he had to move the line around.

TV
Hello everyone. I just purchased a 2003 Fiesta Vee 250 and, as stated on my previous post, I'm loving it!!!!!
We are looking to add a TV but have no idea what/where to purchase one. Are there "marine"TVs or any TV will do?
I really appreciate your assistance.
Thank you.

Re: TV
If the sound is what is bothering you about them (which I do agree, most TV's speakers suck) you can always tie in the audio of the TV to your sound system. Relatively easy to do as well

Re: Battery Charger Model PD 2020 in Rinker 250 Fiesta Vee
Most of us switched to ProMariner ProNautic chargers. I think it would be worth the relatively small cost (in boat expense terms) to get a proper 220v charger.
Not sure if you are running two battery banks, but this is an interesting read if you are:

Re: Waeco fridge only works on DC
@aero3113 My fridge was delivered at 9pm last night. & yes, it is stainless! I'm very happy with it. I've already ran it on both AC and DC to make sure it works. It didn't seem real cold, but that may be all relative as I had it in my detached garage & it was in low 40's while I was testing it. I guess a thermometer would've been better, but I figure if it functions well on both voltages I should be ok to install in boat. It was very quite as I barely heard the compressor kick on. I'll say the heat exchanger/condenser on the back didn't get warm at all, which again may be because it was sitting in 40 degree garage. I'll take a picture once I get it installed. It'll be nice to not have to think about it this summer!

Re: Kill the cockpit sink?
@JimGuy341 sorry, I sold it to a forum member.
Here’s the BoatOutfitters.com order info for the door:

Re: Kill the cockpit sink?
@JimGuy341 it’s long gone! I upsized the fridge from 65 to 80 and added a pull out storage cabinet.
