It has to come off at some point. The question is if that is now. Def but a new nut and the only damage I can think of would be if the threads got crushed.

Cruised down to Kingston NY yesterday and cruised back this morning. Beautiful morning for on plane 30mph ride. She ran sweet both days.

Is your drive stuck in forward ? If so you may have a defective cone clutch. I had this happen to my old boat after a poor rebuild on one of my bravo three’s . Verify first that the cables are moving properly. The boat will have to come out of the water, there is a cover on top of the drive that can be easily removed to check the shifting of your drive

Free Kicker KRC15 Remote

Since the Kicker KMC10 blew up after 2 hours of use on my brand new (old stock) MTX20, I'm replacing the transom remote with a compatible one for the new head unit. The KRC15 remote is mint and includes the extension cable as well. I'm located in Ontario. Free to anyone that wants it. If interested, we can discuss shipping/pickup.
