All the new ones are 16x9 ratio and don’t look right! I’m going to use an iPad Pro this year. I will fill the hole from my Raymarine and put a black sticker over the area since I don’t think I will be able to match the gel coat
I would buy a piece of black starboard from boat outfitters to cover the hole. Will look much better than a sticker. Once you start using the iPad you will struggle to pay for electronics, it really works perfectly as a chart plotter (assuming yours is cellular enabled of course, if not it won’t work).
Crappy pic but I need to find an AC connector like the ones at the back of this pic (yellow) to add another circuit to the panel. Any suggestions on where to find this?
Tried GLS but no luck on the connector itself but I think this is the terminal block view.
I need some help please Aero! I’m working on my control and I need to wire up the new trim switches. My existing switches seem to have two detents on the “up” side of the switch - I assume this is by design whereby the first detent is for trim and the second detent allows the drive to go up even further for trailering?
Yes, that’s correct. You can move them independently with those switches if you want. There’s another switch on the lever that controls both drives at the same time.

Perfect! I assume engaging “trailering mode” lifts the drive above the limit of where it can be safely operated?
The Volvo in my old boat didn’t have trailering mode - any idea how much higher it lifts the drive and if it’s actually necessary given that I will never trailer the boat?
Could you please check your port throttle cable for any sort of designation of the length? I got my new control installed but the port cable is stiff and I forgot to check!
I think there’s also a shifter ball? That you can check if you remove the cover plate on the outdrive. I’ve read that these just need to be lubed up and shifting becomes smooth. I would check that first before removing and replacing the cable.

Thanks!

Thanks Aero!!
Second, there’s no clamp on the output from the cool fuel module?!
