@PickleRick what's on those hooks? I sat in the slip fishing with hotdogs today, and caught the same 3-pound catfish about five times.
Nothing was on the hooks when that pic was taken. I have 2 poles set for trolling. One top water and one lead core for depth.
I have one Carolina rig with moto oil u tail.
I then have 2 poles set up for night crawlers which is what we caught the cats last week on. My cousin does hot dogs down here nearly every weekend with good results. Cats are not picky. I've never gotten a 10 ponder but I've seen others reel in monsters.
Took me an hour to prime the AC system. I'm having a beer and fishing as we speak. The admiral is taking a nap in the cabin with the air blasting. When she wakes up she's cooking is snow crab, scallops and shrimp with potatoes and corn in the air fryer.
I also discovered my new 3000 watt genny has a ground hook up. She's very quiet when the ac is going. I need to run a ground to the electrical system.
With all the poles I keep on board you'd think id catch bigger fish. Unfortunately I have a Cabelas 80 qt cooler, id need to upgrade to at least a 30 qt yeti to get the real fish
My wife and I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather today since the weekend isn’t looking too good. We left the little ones home. Was a great day. Davis Park Fire Island in the morning (till we figured out the restaurant wasn’t open till tomorrow) then to Drift 82 on the Patchouge River for lunch.
Your girls are a bit young to leave home alone, no?!
LoL, we hired a nanny to take care of them since COVID started on the days we have to work. My wife has off till Tuesday and my schedule is light. We decided to take advantage!! 😎⚓️

My balance shaft deleted, new ALH oil pump, new timing belt, new low profile oil pan with matching pickup.
I'm now 15% on the way to having a diesel resto mod daily driver 1st gen 4 runner.
