@shawnmjr I had not seen that before it make's since. yours looks good. Go Rinker. I've seen one since I been here. It was an older 250, in rough shape.
This boat, like most at the show were for designed fishing, incorporated a platform for fishing. It was on sale $750k
That rear platform/bucket isn't pretty but sure practical for a fishing boat. Wonder how she handles with the outboards placed so far apart? Look how the chimes are cut to keep the props in the water. Interesting design.
The sales man said it was a demo unit. They took it 60 miles out, Fishing said it ran 50 mph. easy. Of course he told how proud it preformed. handled rough water, and all the extras . When I saw the price tag, I told him i could write that check, his eye's smiled.
We are looking at canal houses in Marco, Naples, Sarasota, and up the coast as we are moving from Chicago to FLA permanently. With kids age 10 and 13, it's impossible to be near the water without getting another bill for private schools, nevermind the insane cost of the property. Any recommendations from the FLA locals would be great. BTW, 1,000+ people a day are moving to Florida, which makes inventory very tight.
Your income and sales taxes are insanely low. Property tax also. Anything in the water here is minimum $10 G a year. Yeah we get "free" healthcare but tax eats up about 60 cents on the dollar.
You may make less down here but it also has a much lower cost of living.....it's all tied together don't you think Handy?
What is less Ras?? Gas and food same. Utilities same. Explain
No state tax, and city taxes appear to be cheaper. Homes are definitely cheaper too for what you get for the dollar.
No state income tax but there is sales tax. Houses are not that cheap on the water and in high dollar areas. You can get a nice house for 200000 with no pool, etc.
