I think I’m going to go over it again with some Meguiar’s carnuba past wax. I see some spots I’m not liking. I remember last time I used Collinite past wax I had the same issue. I used Meguiar’s 2 season ago and it was awesome going on and coming off. Lasted a long time also.

I agree.  I have been really happy with their carnuba wax.

I got the Meguiar’s on tonight. So much easier to work with and took the spots off that the Collinite left behind. I had a couple of helpers so went a little quicker 😂⚓️.

I’ve used the Collinite cleaner on previous boats and on the white of the Rinker (heavier grit stuff on the black).  What I learned just last year was that if you wipe off the Collinite too soon after buffing it can leave a dull haze in spots.  I started leaving it on a little longer and it came out much better.

I compounded and waxed the exterior top side by hand today. It’s crazy how dirty it was!

That’s what mine gets like. At least easier each year to buff.

I think it’s just the winter grime that sticks.I use the WM boat soap during the season and Starbright deck cleaner for the bow non slip. Zoom in on the first photo of mine on the prior page and you can see the grime on the stern to the left that I hadn’t done yet. Was clean when she went away.

Replaced a 1/2 inch thru hull inlet and backing block on the Pacemaker. Got the second 15 Whaler bottom painted (first one is already in the water with the Grady). Since I had some paint left in the can and a wet roller, I started painting the Pacemaker. Got mostly everything within the first foot of the tape line and the first 1/4 going from bow to stern done. Still have 3/4 of a gallon of bottom paint in the second can to hopefully stretch out to finish the rest when it stops raining tomorrow

I wiped down the entire cabin with warm water and Lysol, surprised at how dirty the water was when I was finished.

We are getting the interior carpets cleaned clean by the pros. We'll see what the difference is, I took a before photo I can upload later.

I also caught my forearm on a bolt and made a nice slice in my arm. We'll see if stitches will be necessary. My wife cleaned it up and got creative with bandages to hold it together.

Sorry to hear that @Aqua_Aura , hopefully you don’t need stitches.
Curious to hear how the cabin comes out ⚓️.

I use the Collinite cleaner wax in the fall just before shrink wrap the last couple of years and seems to make spring cleaning easier. Wash, light polish with 3M and usually jescar power lock and Collinite 925. This year went with just Meguiar’s hybrid ceramic spray wax that I’ve been using on my cars  after 3M.  We’ll see how it holds up. My shoulders definitely like the spray on wipe off Meguiars

@Pat310 do you notice a nice shine with the spray on? I’m sure it’s a huge time saver! Hopefully it lasts.

Got the carpets cleaned and both mattresses.

A little hard to see in the photos however the carpets are mostly a uniform color without dirt marks and stains.

And it smells much better 😁

Good for now and it will all get replaced this winter.

Those carpet photos don't show much improvement but there is. We are now cleaning the dinghy cover and continuing on cleaning the Bimini top for about the 4th time.

Not terrible for 21 year gel coat  I’ll post when i see how it holds up. Thing i like about it on my cars is re-apply is just spray on, hose off and dry  Not sure i want to do that in water though.

You are supposed to spray and wipe the first time and then subsequent applications are spray and rinse. I always spray and wipe because it is satisfying and it smells awesome.

How far does 32oz of spray wax go?

I usually use Collinite 885 paste (hand on/machine off) or if needed Collinite 631 (machine) but am willing to try something new
