Awesome @LaRea , the CJ3+ is a great aircraft. I used to manage one and a CJ4 about 10 years ago. Pretty cool that it’s certified for single pilot also.
I pulled off my props to clean up the shafts and get them ready for my new Hill 4x4’s. The shafts remind me of a R-1340 radial engine prop shaft. Works of art!
Ive got the new drawer made. The top piece of flashing needs secured. This vanished pretty piece of wood was from an old 70s model carver i parted out, it will be cut down to fit the outside of the drawer then i will try to match up trim around the outside perimeter of the opening to match the drawer.
I took pretty much all the cabinetry out of that carver, beautiful wood in that old boat.
Once this cabinet and trim work is finished im making a new table, my pedastool should be in by Friday. Once it's mounted the new carpet goes down. No sensee in laying new carpet until im done drilling, cutting and working.
Im sure you guys can see the new cabin floor has been epoxied down. I reused the fiberglass skin but all new 3/4 inch wood core.
Ahhhhh I miss the wonderful modern cockpits of the corporate aircraft. Not that the Airbus isn’t automated, but it’s still 80s technology. I sure do love my schedule though!
Profit margins would depend 100% on the cargo flying into, out of and around the Bahamas. Supposedly one could make enough money to buy Miami but you'd probably just pi$$ it away!
Growing up my dad had a high paying job at GE as a gas turbine maintenance tech. Hed be gone for months at a time traveling all over the globe/country. He pretty much lived to work.
As much as I'd love to make what he made i enjoy my 8 to 5 job and every weekend/evening with my kid. No over time, no weekends, no travel.

My spare 5 psi 12v pump finally died on me, wouldn't prime so i had to hand pump 2 qts of foot oil.
No analog in that thing.

That was where the refrigerator was mounted.
It now has a drawer and toaster oven/air fryer
