About May we will start getting multiple days in the 80s. Im ready for some of this weather. In spring/early summer this beach is regularly visited by wild turkey and deer each morning, if you wake up early enough and are quiet you can catch them hanging out.
Nothing compared to you guys up north/north west with your moose hanging out in 20ft depths.
I don't drink wine but there's always rum and beer, none of that bud/miller/coores horse **** either. Its good beer, for American beer.
I hope to have my v berth table finished by this weekend, im not super great with this wood working.
I have made fitted sheets for all 5 v berth cushions so it's essy to convert from table to bed. Even finished off the cushions with a terry water proof cover that goes under the fitted sheets so I don't have a wet bed to sleep in.
I was looking over and cleaning my prop nuts/thrust washers and didn’t like the way one of the outer nuts looked. There was some brass missing that exposed the nylon. I ordered two new outer nuts to be safe, everything else looked good.
I have new 2 outlets, one on each end of the v berth for her hair dryer and straightener.
The admial is in retail management, meaning she works most weekends. She goes to/from work to the boat. This summer she'll be able to get ready much more easily.
We like to eat well. I don't mind some peanut butter sandwiches for lunch but i like to cook a huge breakfast and as soon as the sun starts to set its time to cook a good dinner.
I want to put in 2 captains chairs and a rear facing bench seat with good under seat storage where i currently have 4 total back to back seats. Id like to be able to store an lp grill and lp griddle under the seat when not in use. The transom on a 23 footer isn't big enough to keep cooking equipment mounted at all times.
this is what i currently have. Impossible to access under them for much useful storage. They are also uncomfortable.
I'd like maybe a rear seat like one of these
Then for the captains chairs. The main issue is space on the platfrom. I might have to go to one of the fold down leaning post style for rear seats mounted to or on top of a storage box. With some 1/2 ply, stainless hinges and marine vinyl i could make a pretty nice storage box or incorporate it in a cooler.
would love something like this but too complicated to build. Measurements would need to be diffent for the rinker
Just washed my Bimini top in our front loader washing machine (just fit). Looks really clean now, I have it drying in the basement then will spray with Starbrite waterproofing (I’ve had really good results and long lasting repelling with Starbrite in the past).

All interior lights are led. Carpet is only glued lightly at corners/angled surfaces and now trimmed in for easy seasonal/as needed removal for pressure washing in the drive way. I used an indoor/outdoor carpet from lowes. My boat didnt come with a v berth table. Each cushion now has its own fitted sheet for easy bed to table conversion. Please ignore my v berth pile. Much of that is going awat this season. I now have a bimini shade extension so i wont need an umbrella. If she doesn't sell an extended platfrom is on the list of things to do, at that time an umbrella will be added back to the onboard inventory.
it’s about the time of year where I’m confident we won’t have anymore hard freezes, so it’s time to service the trailer wheel bearings, and giving the boat it’s yearly polishing and clean up. It’s almost time to go boating!

Used Nikwax on my snowmobile gear & downhill ski gear. Works well for garments, GoreTex etc. But I’d stick to Starbrite waterproofing works really well on boat fabrics.

V Berth table is done, just need to mount it and the trim for the air fryer/toaster oven is stained. Hope to start carpet soon

Clean cabin ready for water to warm up enough to launch. Now its time to start on the seating, hull paint and possibly manifolds.
