Makes 4. 3 of which are insured and registered. All other boats are for sale!!!!
I wanted a diesel 2859 with trailer. Not a popular boat on smaller inland lakes.
One poppped up for sale 40 min from my shop.
2018 aluminum triaxle tailer. Just came 3000 miles from the west coast.
Usually these go for 22k and up with no trailer.
I got this one for much less than that.
Ive got to add a genset and AC. Do some cleaning and upgrades. Im also not sure how to turn on the shore power outlets in the aft bedroom.
I'm also not sure how to use the spot light.
So far the only repair ive had to do was hunt down a short in the starboard side nav light. I have a light from a junker boat sitting on her for now until the new ones arrive. It will be good enough to get me on the water this weekend
How much @reneechris14? That looks awesome! Biggest draw back is the hard feeling..that is spongy? Also, with my carpet out and the camper pack up, it's kind of noisy like the carpet absorbs some sound...maybe I'm imagining that...
Not as soft as it looks but it should make it more durable. $1219 with shipping from Moler in China. Will be doing the swimplatfrom today have to do some cutting.
Im not sure where the PO had it in cali. Was originally a great lakes boat, then went to somewhere out west then cali. They took it to Catalina island often. Something about a wine mixer. They said it took 45 min on this bost as opposed to 3 hrs on their trawler.
That’s the boat we wanted to buy (gas) to replace our 1992 Bayliner 2452. Loved the big windows. There were none to be found around here. Just not popular. Even the salesman at the high volume Bayliner dealer in central New York said they had never sold even 1 of that model boat. We ended up buying a 285.
that's not bad at all @reneechris14...just a little over a boat buck! And your a 342, I'm a 270 so would be some less I'd think...I may reach out and get a price before we are completely shut down from China...
Did a quick Google and came up zip...who is the company??
285 discovery? Those are nice models but i have only seen the 24 and 26 models. I wanted the private rear bedroom. Not a feature you find on many models that can be trailered.
This is the first one i found less than 6 hrs from me.
Agree @Aqua_Aura. Although the vast majority of us are now, or have been, Rinker owner's most have experience with other brands and boating in general. Most of that knowledge is transferable. Always willing to help out a fellow boater regardless of brand.
For anybody that doesn't think it gets hot in Canada this was the temp under the canvas at the boat today. Was 49 when I first entered which is 120 F. After half an hour with the top opened up it only dropped to about 100 and then a severe thunderstorm warning was issued so we zipped back up and headed home. Good tornado weather here. Been in the 90's all week now and no rain for the last 10 days.
Well the pole in the right corner is so you can reach stuff that you can not reach by hand, the shiny round thing makes you go left or right hope this helps
