The original faucets had 1/2 threaded connectors and the new ones were 3/8. I replaced the original white plastic fittings on the pex with new shut off valves.

@aero3113 did you change your trim fluid at any point? Mine looks pretty muddy. Thinking about using my little outdrive oil pump to suck out what I can.

@YYZRC When I changed my starboard pump, most of it was changed. My port side fluid looks fine.

Sorry @YYZRC , I was thinking steering!! No I haven’t changed my trim fluid at all, probably is a good idea. I would think it’s original!!

Do you think I could just pop off one of the hoses and run the pump to evacuate?

I would just suck out what you can. Fill half way then run the pump up and down a few times and suck out and refill.

I don’t think you’ll be able to get all of the old fluid in the lines unless you remove them.

If this works, then you would be able to flush the entire system. But I think the pump will run dry and stop pushing once the reservoir is empty.

I will keep adding fluid so it doesn’t run dry. Will report back.

Edit: marina sold out of trim fluid so this is on the later list.

Did manage to convert the flip-down “drawer” to a real drawer. Way more useful now. Need to find a good organizer that will work around the drain cut-out.

Switched out the cockpit lights and added an extra one next to the stairs.

The vinyl paint is good stuff. I re did a door panel on my F150 that the sun had gotten to (2006) and man, what a nice difference. Couple of other places I will touch up. Mine was a different brand but they say you can't paint over leather, vinyl and even carpet...not convinced that would hold up but on hard vinyl plastic I'm real impressed and the color match too is great. All that looks very nice....

It was awful! I underestimated how difficult running the wire would be. Contending with the tub in that under seat storage space was not fun.

I had no idea how much space there was under the helm seat. It even has a liner. Need to find a way to access/utilize it!

If I had kept our EC 360 I was going to install a cockpit air conditioner in that space.

@Michael T it would fit there but I think the space behind the vacuflush is better for an AC unit! It’s right above the thru hull; could easily tee off it to feed the new unit.

I am going to add a larger access door to replace the stupid storage cuddy and store all my tools in there. Should be perfect!
