I bought some of this to use as well. Has anyone tried it? Supposed to work well.

I like the mold armor.  Never tried the bilge stuff.  I usually use purple power in the bilge.

I use Purple Power also but feel it could do better at times.

Purple Power was a letdown for me.

Tried changing the oil from the drain hose instead of through the dipstick. Bought a 1/4 mip barbed fitting. Worked great.

Assume Purple Power is like Castrol Super Clean?

Lowe’s, Home Depot or Menards. Maybe even Canadian tire, eh?

I fixed the down button and resealed it on the windlass and also gave the buttons a detailed clean. This is the before, the after was the same just shiny 😁. Switch wasn't making contact.

She came out of storage on Friday so Saturday saw me do a power wash, scum line clean and prep drives ready to paint. Once painted this week sometime then onto buffing.

Started her up from her winter's nap. I retorqued the starboard manifolds and risers that I replaced. It’s amazing how loose they get after a heat cycle. I retorqued 3 times, I’ll do it one more after a good run. The ticking exhaust sound I had went away and no more exhaust smell! I also cut the shrink wrap under the rub rail and washed her. In a week or so I’ll take the rest off when she’s ready to go in. Trees this time of year!!

@davidbrooks. That water is definitely chilly still.  We must be about the same age.  I have a 23 year old daughter and 21 year old son.  I could see my son doing the same thing. Glad your ok

Bought a wrecked Sea-Doo Spark on Copart. Needs a new hull and a few other plastic bits but the powertrain is good. Will be a fun winter project for me and the little guy.

Runs like a champ. Had a great day today. Put an hour on it, not a hiccup.

Installed both raw water pumps, now I can focus on the drive oil hose leak. Probably tackle that tomorrow or Wednesday.

Did some cleaning and organizing yesterday, now that the boat is 10 min away and not 3.5 hours all these tasks are much easier.

I removed the strainers and cleaned the sea life out of them, I am so happy to be in freshwater now.

It’s so nice to have the boat close to home, I love when it’s in my backyard! Dock is about 20 minutes away.

Removed all the canvas and we are cleaning the Bimini. I guess the previous owner was trying some biological experiment. We are going to leave the sides off and just use the Bimini this summer. We have someone coming in a couple weeks to make a new enclosure. After/before as if you couldn't tell 🤢

I removed the rest of the shrink wrap today. I hated leaving the arch uncovered under the trees and when it’s raining so I came up with this. I have the cockpit cover and have the shrink wrap still covering the arch, it’s held on with bungee cords.

Applied Collinite cleaner wax by machine and then Collinite past wax by hand below the rub rail. Topside will be next in a day or so depending on weather ⚓️.

Nice! I can not wait to wax our boat. I don't think the previous owner ever did it once.
