I've had a couple of old automotive amplifiers powering the speakers in my boat, and they were finally starting to have issues. I know several of the guys at Kicker, and they hooked me up with 2200 watts RMS of greatness. I got them both hooked up, and the difference is dramatic. These things are clean and loud, and the adjustability on them is awesome. I still have some wiring clean up to do, but they make a lot of noise.

In preparation for the trip on the boat, replaced the bathroom faucet/shower with this one (got it on amazon warehouse for 40 bucks!): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JLCV3X6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Works pretty nicely!!

I removed my windshield screw cover vinyl, pulled out the screws and rebedded them with 3M4000 caulk. I then installed my new screw cover vinyl and made sure to leave it long so it hopefully won't shrink too much. I also painted my wiper arm flat black since the paint had worn away. I would have rather been rafted up in a group.

No open holes. I did have 2 that didn't have any caulk in them.

Completed my pioneer sound system finally
had to run power cables for my amp and Headunit since original wiring didn't account for amp or high power audio.
not to bad but took some time
ended up with 4 6.5 pioneers two in cabin and 2 8inch next to the 6.5 on main deck. Running with pioneer 600watt amp and headunit.
    sounds amazing finally lol

Next week I'm replacing the Lowrance HDS5 with a Garmin 721.  The HDS5 has started acting up (shutting itself off) and we have a big trip coming up in less that a month.  So time to get the navigation fixed.  Photos will follow.

I think you'll like the Garmin @Stodge. Been a fan of Garmin products for years and had a 421 in my old boat for 5 years. A nice feature with Garmin is that if you get the Bluechart Vision chip it will enable an "Auto-Guidance" feature that will automatically chart a route with parameters you select, like minimum depth, minimum distance to land mass etc. Are you getting a deal on a 721? Because I think it's already been discontinued for the 722. That being said, the 721 is awesome and there should be good pricing on whatever models are still out there.

@Willhound I prefer Garmin too.  Had a 4208 on my FV280.  The 342 had the HDS5 with sonar so I was not in a hurry to replace it even though I didn't care for it.  I have other Garmin devices so now they can all share.

I found the 721 on The GPS Store for $599 shipped.  They bundled in the Bluecharts G2 (not vision) for that price.  I "think" the only difference between the 721 and the 741 is that the 721 came without charts.
