I bought mine from there as well last season for the cockpit. Great prices!

Boat was running rough. This was max throttle the other night.

New rotor, cap, wires and plugs in my 350 mag. #3 wire came off the plug pretty easy…not 100% sure it was connected, oh well now. New wires ohm’d at 7.5, old ones were between 8.5-12ohms. Boat runs great now!

Replaced Ritchie compass on dash. Quick swap.
Original compass had a crack & lost some fluid over winter. Weird.

Ran into something similar couple years ago. Instantly everything started to run bad.
Caps/rotors/plugs, etc - on my replace list for every 3 years now.

LOL, @Liberty44140 wins the Eagle Eye Award.  They are textured pillowcases ... did you really think the Admiral would tolerate wrinkled linens?!?   :D

Hahahaha! I feel so relieved. Boat really looks cool all lit up

@LaRea - How did you attach the lights to the rubrail and upper helm areas?
  • LaReaLaRea Member, Moderator Posts: 8,059 mod
@TonyG13 I love those lights.  They are so light and thin that I can run them along the hull with just a little piece of electrical tape every 4-6 feet.  (I use zip ties on the rails.)  They are strong enough to hold a lot of tension, and durable ...  I've had some of them for 4 years and they are good as new.

    Looks great @LaRea !!
That window would be both of my daughters (and myself) favorite spot to look out!

@aero3113 I agree!  The windows are great, especially when underway.  The Admiral calls it "watching Wave TV".

Today I tried to explain to a coworker that this boat will eventually be our retirement home for at least a few years.  She 100% did not comprehend.  Some people get it, some don't.

We would love to do the same once we retire!

I cleaned the shower sump.  Was getting so bad the bilge was randomly kicking on.   Gross.  Not holding tank or toilet tank level gross but still gross.

Replaces spark plug and cables and the burn fuel pump fuse box.

@mattie how much ? Mine had no fluid when we bought the boat 8 years ago? I looked into sending back to the factory...pretty much an eyesore...my boating does not require a compass but that sure looks nice...

Under $20 on Amazon and best part, I repurposed one of the screws holding the sound shield in place so only one screw needed! Lean operation here.

    @rasbury

About $80 on Amazon, Ritchie F-50 Explorer. Comes in back or white. Pre-wired with 22GA wires for backlight.
I was shocked it was so reasonable. Ritchie has quite a selection on their website if you want to upgrade.
I don’t use it either…..just for looks. Been boating in this area for 46 yrs.

I washed the boat and looked over the engine bay today. Beginning of this season I replaced a leaking starboard distribution tube, today I found the port side now has a drip. Must’ve happened during our trip this past weekend. I should’ve just replaced them both at the same time, luckily I bought two. Anyone replace one in the water?

Perfectly stowed and ready to go when the Admiral boards this weekend. I guess we are now officially Chulux-heads!

Last time out I went to transmit on the VHF and as soon as I did I lost radio and My Garmin GPS. I had the Garmin "professionally" installed. The Garmin power was wired to the VHS and all supported by a 3 amp fuse. This outfit did a number of jobs for me and every time I look , I find another surprise. Fortunately for the boating community they are out of business.

I think the marine electrician must’ve been out sick that day so they had building maintenance do the job….
