    Life lesson: ablative paint doesn't wash off your skin easily.  If, however, you decide to enjoy some KFC after your ablative paint session, your hands will be clean in no time!

    I agree, it looks great and will come in use. I’ve thought about adding a grab handle under the arch to help with getting down from the bow.

    Thanks all - I've been wanting to do this for a couple of seasons, just finally got the cahonies to drill into the helm without screwing it up, and it took all of about 15 minutes. Should have done it sooner.

    I made up some templates out of transparent vinyl so that I could center the plates perfectly over the hardtop access holes. You know, in case @aero3113 stops in for an inspection.

    @ian here you go. 3M heavy cut 3M fine and a coat of jescar power lock+from certain angles you can see a very very faint difference

    Finally all buffed and bottom paint touched up from the repaint. Back tomorrow to put up canvas and set lines and fenders ready for splash.
